Welcome to the world of The band too skinny, where music knows no bounds! What makes us special is our wide range of musical styles. We play everything from Jimi Hendrix and Luke Bryan to the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, and the Tragically Hip. Plus, we sprinkle in our own upbeat originals that keep people coming back for more. We pride ourselves on delivering a unique and unforgettable live music experience, complete with a full lighted backdrop to enhance the atmosphere.
Our story
The band too skinny started with Dave Buck Jr. crafting original riffs on his guitar, while Top Quality TQ penned lyrics to match. Dave then taught TQ the bass guitar, and their original music journey began. Over 12 years, we went through 3 drummers before Aaron Berfield joined the crew. Dave and TQ have been making music together for over 14 years. We also host our own music festival, Skinnyfest, held annually on the second weekend in July, spanning Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
